not usable for race bikes, but seem great for the dirt bikes. but I think with a little input from us gear heads Cad600, modking and the like we could whip it into shape for us race bike dudes, the suggestions so far are vynle covered cables instead of the hoop sto pull the rear of the front tyre into the boot section

Cheap and effective, perhaps not so pretty. You guys could whip up some custom ones that would be tasty!

John Fisher is the guy with the idea and has realised that with some prompting from moi that the jack bobbins could be utilised at the rear end.
Feel free to experiment and discuss .........................

I plan on getting some wheel chocks for my trailer. They are the way to go. I always use a tie down on each side of the handle bar and then compress the forks and ighten down. The wheel chocks are the way to go.

Excellent find. Around here quite a few guys have those, but they usually have the rear ramp / cage on them, to avoid the bikes backing out, or from a skidding car climbing right up on there and making Suzuki pancakes. I use a sled mount on my SUV from a company called Joe Hauler. (joehauler.com). Of course mine is wide open to getting rear-ended also, but has been able to carry all my bikes (1 at a time) when needed.

In a few years I plan on having a fully enclosed trailer, large enough to carry all 3 bikes and all my tools, supplies, etc. They're pretty expensive though.

Those enclosed trailers are high dollar and I cant figure out why. Although Im trying to find a cheap one on craigslist. My buddy bought one at a flea market for $1500 and it is a 16' hauler with electric brakes and all. Very nice and almost new looking. He's on the lookout for a smaller one for me. I would like to haul my dirt bikes in one.

Our shop had a trailer till someone liked it more than us so we went whole Hog and bought a van. The front half was portable work shop & spares to sell service at the race site.
The rear end was for the bikes with welded drop rings for tie downs .
We never had serious issues just minor niggles like not enough room to get 3 bikes cinched down totally to my satisfaction.
Which is why i loved those "boots" & turnbuckles. Nerd
