ok girls im poss to be going buyinga thundercat engine carbs and down pipes to put in my fzr400r exup 1wg. i understand that the engine goes rite in with noproblems but could any of you tell me something i should know about getin it to fit to getin it to go down the road safely? i have never done this before so i am hopeing i dont make a balls of it and mess it rite up.

first the engine sprocket is gonna be offset about 8 to 10mm so your chain wont line up unless you either change the swing arm to the yzf or figure out how to get the rear sprocket over (which has its own chalenges)and i dont know how the airbox fits depending on your set up its a problem in some senarios then theres the wireing harness i dont think theres and issue if you use the 95 96 carbs but the 97+ requires alteration for the computer or just use the hole harness the then the controls plug in differently so its easier to use them if you change the harness what year engine are you useing will answer how much work your gonna need to do. but the easist way is to use all the yzf parts that control the engine
