GH:- Swing arm bearings

For thos eof you doing swing arm swaps you may want to look at what the MOTO2 GP guys are doing .
Thay are using one needle bearing on the front sprocket side BUT using a BALL bearing on the other side to take up angular loads and thus make for a pivot with less drag (friction)
There available aMIXED bearing set up from SKS which is needle bearing and an angular roller bearing all in one assembly and there is I am told a 20mm version for the FZR / YZF swing arm.
For those of you who want top race teck at a small price for your headstock bearings this just in:-
Use angular contact ball race for the lower and sealed radial contact ball
race for the top. That's by far the best combination for a fixed rake head
stock. For those with inserts use angular contact self aligning races at
each end, then you do not have to worry about very precise alignment between
the bores in the inserts.
