What a sad thing. Ahh well, I gues that Eric would like that all of the tools and machinery will be put to good use by bike-freaks. Still a sad thing thoug...

I'm hopefully coming home with a drill press and a plasma cutter. They have a moto dyno there too. Too rich for me though.
I wouldn't mind a good motorcycle lift too. I'm bringing the truck though. We'll see how lucky I get.

I headed up to the Buell liquidation today. I got an alright deal on a torque wrench, a pretty good deal on some water wetter and a 12mm Snap-On wrench, and a freaking silly deal on a motorcycle lift.
I checked it out after I got home. 2400 for the model I got if I were to buy it new. They had it listed for 770. I walked out the door after tax and their shitty 10% buyers premium for 345! Foot pedals both sides and a hand control. It's freaking awesome. I can't wait to get it to the shop! I may go back closer to the end of the liquidation and see what is still left. A buddy picked up a sick deal on a welder too. They had it for 1750 and he got it for 850 plus the tax and premium. It came with 3 guns, 2 20lb spools of aluminum wire and the ability to switch between 220 and 480. And I should be able to have access to it!

well done, you own a piece of history, I wish I could get there, I would love to have just some hand tool or other as a memento of my friend Erik's hard work.
