I checked the wiki and there isnt really any info on adjusting valves.

is this something easy to do?

mine ticks like crazy and Id like to make it non-ticky for when i gotta sell it

ther not easy when you aaint done them before. i have tried and mesd them up and i had to get my dad to do them. dont try them your self incase you mes them up real bad like i did try and get someoneto help you along that has done them before. its not worth it in the end tryin it your self and ending up makein it into a biger job.

I adjusted mine no problem (sorta) having never done it before. I look in the factory service manual in the Wiki for the proper chapter (tells you everything) and make sure to have a good set of feeler guages and a good torque wrench. It's got a chart in the factory service manual for shim selection, to make it easier on you.

The only problems I had were uninstalling/re-installing the cams: when it says to evenly tighten up the cam retainers a little at a time, it means it. I broke a piece off of my exhaust cam re-installing it and had to get a new exhaust cam.
It's also really easy to install the cams one tooth off on the timing chain and have to remove them and re-install them.

wait...you gotta mess with the timing chain???? O_O

poopy. I wish I had someone that can help me out...oh wait!!! I think I do!!! there is this wise man a few houses down that said he knows his stuff but ill have to see :/

First off, how u know it's your valves needing to be checked? Are you positive it's the valves and not a piston connecting rod bearing(s) out of wack? The valve adjustment is not to hard, but it takes some time...
