well when i bought my bike ther was no cables on m exup valve so i tied it open well after abit i got hold of some and put them on and now its ride at low revs way smoother but what i have bin told is if i cut the lot out and pach it back up it will run beter and respond faster. is this true or a load of crap because i dont want to go cuting my pipes t bits if its not going to do my any favours so what do you all think? stick with what i have or go ahead cutin? many thanks

The valve is there to provide the needed backpressure to allow the motor to produce more torque at the low end. Yes you can take it out but you'll have almost no low end and you have to probably rejet it to compensate (which you probably won't achieve the same smooth linear throttle that you are getting with exup working). I suggest leaving it in.
