swinger swap question

hey there guys I was just curious as to why everybody cuts the frame instead of just cutting the swinger and having spacers made to use the fzr bolt that way you always have a choice to go back to factory swinger if ever you need be.is there pluses and minuses i'd like to know please if you guys could help that would be great thanks in advance, Hilly

hey guys sorry i did not mention its a r6 (99-02) swinger and anytime i see a swap they always cut the frame out on the fzr instead of cutting the swinger thanks again

you can only really cut the swingarm down so much and then you have to grind the frame to fit it in

thanks alot guys it would definatley make more sense to only cut one down rather than both and i appreciate the quick responses, cheers
