Can anyone confirm if this is a micron down pipe or not please.


I got this with a bike,but it came with a standard silencer(in my hand)that is too small a diameter to fit this,it joins underneth with springs,but the other"micron"downpipes i have got,comes a lot further towards the silencer.

That looks an awful lot like a Micron header to me. The mid-pipes on those systems are indeed pretty massive. IIRC, they're about an inch wider in diameter than stock. Here are a few pics of my full system for you to have a look at. Especially look at the welds, the mounting plates, and the springs (obviously). That mid-pipe, though, is a dead-giveaway IMO. My guess is that it was a full system at one point because of the size of the mid-pipe. I think they make headers with standard mid-pipe diameters also in order to accommodate different slip-ons.
