I'll have to look into that. Is it basically just a lamintaed dealio that sticks to the inside?

*EDIT* Just looked it up. They look pretty cool. I'll have to see if the local shop has any.

I use Rain-X Anti-Fog for interior glass. Its made for keeping your windshield from fogging. I put it on my visor once or twice a year.

I use Scott's, the rf1000 foggs some at stand still even with it but even slow movement clears it up. I've heard of other people having a similar issue

Yeah, I've got an RF1000 (the one in my avatar) so I wonder if they have some kind of a venting issue. I don't ever remember it being a problem with either of the RF200s I had back in the day. Regardless, I'll hopefully be picking up a Fog City liner tomorrow (per FasterThanUr's suggestion). I'll let everyone know how it works out.

I use RainX wipes. I bought the jug/can of them and I keep fresh ones in a ziploc in my tankbag for the exterior and interior of my shield (RF900).

I'll get fog for a few seconds, usually right after the helmet/faceshield encounters cooler air (left on mirror it soaks engine heat when parked-and when I first leave house in evening/night)..but it's never an ongoing/persistent issue.

What do those run? Might not be a bad idea to have them around also. Will see how the insert works out though.

It's like $6-$7 a jug. Had the current one since last mid-winter (use them on my sled helmet too-even tho that has a double pane heated shield)

Hey all,

So I got the insert installed. Now I just need to get on the bike again to ride which probably won't be until Tuesday. I'll let everyone know how it pans out.

Reelrazor,

Your talk of snowmobiles is making me want to move back to MN! Stop it! LOL!! Dad's even got a couple old sleds in the garage and LOTS of space to ride them (over 40 acres up in northern MN).
