Sorry for not searching as I'm at work and want to make this quick.

Does anybody have a line a gear indicator such as the one in this pic? What brand is it and what does it entail to install. I'm thinking about doing one of these on the track bike.
Ah Ha! Found it!

I was very curious about this as well. But I didn't know if anyone on here would laugh at me for needing it for street. Race would be different cause it is definitely more important during the race to know what gear you are going into before the corner and already thinking of 100 other things. Plus I would get one for when I get my gf a bike.
Chris.

Yeah, I agree that I don't think they're really necessary for the street. Kind of nice though and a bit of the ol' bling factor so I wouldn't laugh at ya'!

I would like it if I could come up with something small. It would come in really handy in the canyons. I had several instances last weekend where it would have been really useful.

Check out the company website. It looks like they are available in a bunch of different sizes.

I know I'm a few years late to the party, and unfortunately this website (
http://www.ledgear.co.uk/) doesn't seem to be active anymore. Does anyone know of any other options for a gear indicator?

I know of a company that is willing to make one for the FZR, but it will require a little testing from an FZR owner ::

For six US dollars the price seems right. Now I'm just lacking an electronic speedo and tach.

I had one of those digital gear position readouts on a 78' GS 550 Suzuki I bought new. It was factory.I liked it.

I do believe that the FZR can be outfit with a similar gear position switch as the Suzuki SV650 (2nd Gen), 04+ GSXR600/750, etc... If that is possible, then the FZR has the ability to use a Gear Position Display that reads voltage changes.
