Bike bandit ripped me off

Post by mossy1200 »

Hi guys.
Bike Bandit burnt me really bad .
I order a set of prolite discs md2003ls and md2003rs

They sent me the left disc and told me rt not avaliable and then cancelled the order.
I know have a left disc and no rt disc.

The part i need is edc prolite MD2003RS
There is one on ebay cheep but they wont ship international.
is anyone prepaired to receive it then ship it to me.
i have paypal and can pay the auction then pay you for the freight to New Zealand.
The cheepest shipping to New Zealand is USPS (couriers are very dear to Neew Zealand)

Help the Mossy stop his bike Please.

No need guys. I've already picked up the rotor for Moss and will be sending it out to him when it arrives to me.

Sure you will... lol

Mossy - might want to make sure it doesn't look like a stock rotor with black paint in the center when you get it.

Mossy,
you are more patient than I , Bumbandit would be getting the disc back as not fit for purpose and a FULL refund demanded.

At least you know in future as many of us have in the past that they are not a company to deal with

Thing is George that they have sent me left disc.It included freight etc. Before they send it the cash is held on my visa as pending.
When they post it your visa gets charged.
Here the thing visa no longer pending and not charged either and I have disc.Think I will say nothing as they have mucked me for three weeks so if they loose out on this one thats hard luck.Im not normally like this and im the first to tell shop staff if they give me to much change but arse bandit left me un informed and hanging on for bits that when i ordered their system showed in stock.
At one stage the online chat staff were rude when I tried to explain one disc of a set was not worth sending and asked why I wasnt contacted.

Will see what happens.

Mossy,
Find out who their head of sales & who the MD is, work out their e-mail addies send them your beef and if then they are unco-operative send suitably modified versions of these mails to " world wide forum of bikers" do not be specific!!!!

If enough guys here will help with support & threaten to boycott them in future who knows.

We have done this before where apiece of biker software was not allowed to upgrade under their original software licence despite providing proof of purchase in the US the company was italian so they figured WTF they gonna do they suddenly got 180+ e-mails to from all over the world to the int sales director, GM & MD telling that they would boycott & pass the word about the cowboy attitude of the company.

The guy got the upgrade for free with a letter of apology for the "mis-understanding"

What you got to lose you will never buy direct from them again ...........

Will see what happens.[/quote]Will do george but waiting to see if the disc was free as they have made no attempt to charge it and i have had it for a few days.Im trying not to get them looking into my account.if i get charged they will receive the rath of Moss.

i have now tracked a rt disc and purchaced it with Sweeks help.it was half price on sale so I could end up with two new discs for less than price of one.

We had indeed been charged. And to top it off we were charged import duty by bike bandit which should not have applied as one disc value was below our customs duty limit of $400 nzd.
I have sent this as a starting letter to see if i get a reply.

Please note that I have had the worst online order experiance that I could imagine.I order a set of discs for my fzr1000 1989 bike.H41DTUN.Both discs were showing as avaliable stock.I was then informed that one disc was cross ordered and both would be sent at the same time.A week later i got an email to say one disc was not avaliable and the other had been sent.I am not sure what anyone thought I would do with only one of two discs. To top this off I was charged import tax and since there was only one disc the value dropped below the New Zealand customs limit for GST tax in our country so I would like to know where my money went to.
Please note that I got this site address from one of the four forum sites that I have been long term members in.I would expect that service such as what i received would not help with bikebandits online sales as in this world being in a different country does not meen someone goes unheard.
Please addvise me as toi what you intend to do to change the way your company handles sending half an order in the future.I felt let down and spent a long period of time tracking a rt hand disc that will match.i can appreciate that EBC has changed the design of the prolite discs but I feel that I should have been offered an upgrade before being sent one disc only.

Once again, we do apologize for any inconvenience and please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you. We look forward to your reply.

Now I get a message about paying import tax twice when i claimed that with the reduced items the import tax was not required. The threshold was $400nzd.

I dont think they are very good at communication.
