Depends on what kind of modifications you have. Stage 1 is for stock engines and claim to give a performance increase, but you wont notice anything if all you change is the stock jets to the dyno jet stage 1

If you are cracking open your carbs look at the emulsion tube FZR's are renowned for having poor quality ones and you should check to see if your have worn to an oval

The worn emulsion tubes are usually noticed in poorer gas mileage

never heard about the emulsion tubes being bad. but is the kit worth the money? my only mods are a k&n box filter and a vance & hines slip on.

if by box filter you mean one that drops right into the airbox a stage 2 might be what you want to try, Since the engine is now experiencing a little difference from stock.

Emulsion tubes are $100 for nikel plated ones that wont wear down. It depends on you if its worth the money.

It's pretty much drop in (jets and needles), synch/tune, and go play. I'm running Factory Pro Stage 1 jetting in my 94 1k also with a K&N and the airbox. They aren't much different with the exception of the how the jets are numbered and the design of the needles (check the wiki for more detail on the differences).
