Post by yamaha_george »

People ,
I have gotten hold of the FZR 500 & 600 3HE model service manual
Since i would not like to waste time converting it to web available if you think it is not required I am putting it up to vote which will run until August 22nd as I am busy else where till then :-} with wedding anniversary, trips etc

The 500 was another rendition of the 600. It has the exact same engine only with a different bore and stroke. I know of one in Mexico, but I think he blew up the engine and put in a 600 engine instead. I have never heard of another one since.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

Funny how time blurs the memory the west Indies had the 500 (only two came thro the shop) seemed small like the 400's we got later. Now the 600, same frame as the 500, seems quite big compared to say the Ducati Monster I tried out before buying the FZR6
