But the only problem he said when its at high RPM in 2nd gear it will skip the gear...Now i have no idea what could be the problem..But its the bike i have always wanted and i have enough for it...

So could some1 help me out..I cant figure it out what the problem is...And he said that it has a clean title and everything he said also that it has been like that for like 2-3 years and no other problems idk

sounds like the previous owner was rough on the transmission. when i got my fzr it had a similar problem with third gear. i dont know what the actual problem was at the time because i never got to check. most likely it was shift forks. i should have fixed it a lot sooner, as it may have been an easier fix. one day i was getting on the freeway and accidentally put it in third and gave her a handful of throttle and shredded the gear bad. i ended up tearing down the entire motor to get everything fixed.

i'm not saying stay away from this one, especially if the price is right. just be prepared for some work, or be prepared to spend a ton of money for a mechanic to fix it. my2cents

you have to tear into the bottom of the engine. which will involve lying the bike on its side :ermm: or removing the engine. shift forks are not too difficult to replace, but it takes a lt of work to get to them.

probably cheaper and deffenitly easier to replace the whole motor.

how much does he want for it>?

I wouldnt pay more than 2k for that bike if the clutch slips....EXPECIALLY since its carburated.
