Another one is gone. What a pity!!!

Post by csofos »

Yesterday, another guy (Giorgos 22 years old) lost his life in a motorcycle accident. He crashed on the street with his head. And of course, he wasn't wear his helmet!!!
I'm sorry i'm coming with such bad news guys, but i need to say it. That was it!!! I 'll make suggestions to my city hall, for making a lesson into the schools about safe driving and riding. I don't want to bury other young people just like that.

May all of you be well and drive safe.

Our motorcycle club actually lobbied our government (this is in Trinidad West Indies) to make FULL FACE helmets compulsory and they listerned and it was through in about 3 months.

Some proper training for riders, and some awareness training for drivers would go a long way to help.

In the sunny weather the road through our village is like Santa Pod with big bore sports bikes hooning through - while none of them deserve a set of angels wings and a harp, anyone riding like that ain't gonna get sympathy from me when they do end up thus attired.

As for your friend csofos, I my thoughts are with his family and loved ones :(

UFF I am sorry to hear that. The most common death-caouse among young people in Spain are trafic accidents. ( cars and bikes ) This is stupid and completly un-nesecery as many could have been avoided if these people would only put on there seat-belt / weear there helmets. RIP.
