It looks like a FZ750 motor... Bimota used the FZR600 engine in their bikes before.

It was a stretch, but not too far. Bimota usually does wacky fromt suspensions with girder like frame work.

bimota doesnt usually make their own engines, they boutique out existing bike models mostly into sexy pieces of ass

1985 Yamaha YDS FZ750R This Very Rare prototype Endurance racer Built By the Yamaha Team for the 8 Hour Suzuka Endurance race, it was was Ridden by two Japanease Riders, it comes with Hud Centre Stering and single sided rear swing arm .details/photos sold 2009


tahts hot as hell. but its hard to beat a factory backed endurance racing project!

On the money (or the same lists LoL)

as you say tough to beat a factory R &D team, but it does show what can be done to a basic bike plus some way out ideas and a pot of cash

The idea of racing it is wild for sure especially since it was an endurance race where the bike is being thrashed by 2 different riders over 8 hours.

Certainly proved it self as nothing major seems to have broken as they finished the race ............. ClapHands
