Hi I am new to the sport bike world.
Recently traded my motor cross for a 89 FRZ 1000. It's a great bike only problem I find is that i'm a little scrunched on it.
being 6 foot 4, 240 pounds with long legs. When I get tucked knees into the tank my toes are pointed downward and I have to reposition my legs if I want to
change gears or use the back break.

Any help would be great.

You can try some custom rear sets to position them back further. Sport bikes are like that - they keep you scrunched.

No one uses the back brake anyway... Plus, you can also adjust your shifter to match where your feet are or at least relatively close.

You think you got problems - you're about the same height and weight as me, and I have to cram myself into a 600!

Friend of mine is also a big bloke and had th same problems on his Thundercat - we were able to drop the brake lever by by altering the threaded adjuster at the bottom of the master cylinder. You might also be able to lower the gear lever a touch by turning the linkage on its splines, but I cn't guarantee it.

Yup can relate to that at 6'2" and being a lithe 62 year old at a mear 180lbs. I did the same as FB and set the rear brake lever down a tad with the adjuster and moved the gear lever down 1 spline plus a tweek on the rod length.

If you get the bars raised by as little as 3/4 " it does ease the shoulders some :-}

As many of us can relate, me being 6'2" or 1.88m @ 210 or 95 Kg, I have had good luck adjusting the gear shifter, and rear break to accommodate for my height. You might also consider stiffening up the suspension for your weight as well.
