Well since aquiring my new bike , i have 3-4 pipes sitting around .. i was gonna shorten one of the cans .. So to took one apart and i was gonna have this place next to my work cut it in half but they were too busy .. i ended up cutting off about 4-6 inches of the baffle inside . Since i have to wait till tomorrow i put the can back together but cut some of the packing out to kind of match the length of baffle inside ..
Do you guys think i should have a problem ..if i install it on the bike just to test the sounds ? there is about 4 inches of free space on the end of the can . afraid the back pressure my suck in any of that loose packing but im not sure .. wht u guys think ..

It won't get sucked in, the back pressure is just a quick pulse and the exhaust gasses are still traveling to the back of the bike.

If it came loose I could see it maybe clogging up the muffler but all that would do is stall the bike. You're fine to try it.
