I'm getting tired of people saying "Nice bike" oh! "that's a skinny back tire you got there". Let's see who's got the fattest tire shoehorned on their Fizzer.
Starting with my skinny ass first.
BT014 150/60ZR18
Pictures anyone?
in addition: this would be the only time I wished my ass was bigger!

I'd actually say there is no advantage for the FZR. The engine doesn't put out enough power to really tip the scales of rotational mass vs. contact patch. Then again, I really can't say because I was never able to ride the bike to find out. It sure does look good though.

It looks good, but it can cause slower turn in because of the added width. Also, my swingarm is 2 inches longer than a stock FZR swinger.
It looks damn good though!

Not me, I'm still using the Dunlop Sportmax 140/60ZR18 they stopped producing a couple years ago. Still got plenty of tread too.
I can always hop on the 954 if I need the 180. And I think you're right about power and steering quickness. I have only been able to spin my rear since I did the 520 conversion and only when it's below 50 degrees outside. Either way, spinning puts no power to the ground.
