YZF600 Engine Swap

Post by cad600 »

I know there are a few people that have done this swap. My question is what did you do with the ram air intake? Did you have to plumb it in some how or did you leave it off? What about the pressure system that runs from the ram chamber to the carburetors?
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

I run a modified 95 YZF 600 air box on a 98 engine. No ram air. I plumbed the float bowl pressurization back into the box on the bottom. There are pics of how I modded the box in the link at the bottom of my signature. Just search in the photo bucket box.
