Ok so heres the deal. Im SUPPOSED TO BUY nhfzr's bike in 20 days. Me an my two buddies were going to go and were going to borrow his brothers "road trip" van. Its a 2000 Dodge Caravan. He dosent know if its going to fit in there. I need someone to go outside and measure their FZR and let me know how long and tall (obviously in the longest, highest spot) and let me know the measurements. And does anyone know any good shipping companys for motorcycle shipping, because he is iffy about asking his brother to use the van. He mistakingly thought I said 3 hours instead of the 7 it takes to get to nhfz's doorstep. So if worse comes to worse I may have to ship this bitch in a crate. Or not buy it and have to settle with something closer. Im so f*ck agrevated right now. IDK :puke:

Here's a pic of Darrin's old bike at a track day last year. See the minivan behind it? He brought the bike to the track in it. I think you'll be ok with that dodge caravan. If worse comes to worse get a uhaul. Not that expensive.

Uhaul will hook you up with a trailer super cheap

or just rent their van, that will fit it for sure

i just got a 14 foot rental truck for under 80.00, way better than borrowing my brother in law's pick up

Why all this van talk? Just find someone with a pickup. It'll fit in the back of an S-10 or a ford ranger. Better gas mileage too. You can rent those from uhaul too.

99 cents a mile, 418 miles there, 418 back. Dam near $850 + rental fee. Way to expensive.

Pick up truck. 7 hours is not that far. Leave around 5am and you can be back home with the bike same day. I know it will fit in the back of a s-10 or similar.

I did the uhaul trailor option last year.. It was way cheaper than i expected.. 14 bucks for the day for an open trailor.. the larger closed ones were 30 bucks.. All you need is a hitch

See the thing is my car def will not make a 14 hr trip. Its a 92 saturn, I mean its good for getting me to work and if I go out, or want to drive to camping 45 mins away, but Idt that it would make that trip......

Just called Uhaul, $19.99 for rental, .59 for every mile. Roughly Around 550+gas. I know it will prolly fit in the caravan, the hard part is conning him into it now. This fooking sucks.

Try a car rental place that has pickup trucks. Your looking at like $80 for a days rental and about two - three tanks of gas for that trip. Most car rentals have unlimited mileage.
