Ok, I have been searching for an rrsp gas cap for my tank, as the one i have doent have a key, and i will probably have to drill it out. While looking for screw ons and such, i came across a bunch on ebay that sya they fit the R6, R1, yzf, fzr etc. Has anyone tried other caps to see if they fit?
Shred, since you have like 14 tanks, do you have the caps for them? and if so, can you try them and see if they fit each other? Just surious, as it would make it alot easier for those of us who have either lost or broken their key.

i picked the lock, so at least i can re-key it, although my key isnt the right shape, i'll probably just pull the tumblers so anything small enough to fit in it will open it. but i'm still intereseted to know what other gas caps will fit, for future knowledge.

It depends. I see generic ones on ebay for 25 sometimes. Then I see Vortek ones for 60. My 1K had the ProTek cap on it when I bought it. Most bike parts retailers like Dennis Kirk and Chapparal Racing will carry them. I'm sure your local bike shop will as well.

They are like $60 and then another $40 for the ring or something like that.
