Ok guys, I know a couple of you have done this mod. I need to know how you mounted your ballasts to the fizz? If you can post some pics of how you mounted them, that will be awesome. I'm going to be installing a kit soon, and need some help mounting the ballasts to the fizz so it's secured. TK, Pimp, or anyone else got any words on this installation?

Umm.. Loc-Tite? I'm not sure. I think Modking mounted them on the front fairing. Not sure how exactly. I'm sure there is plenty of space around the birdcage to make some brackets come off the existing bolts to hold the ballasts. Go for the slim ones so you have more space.

I wish I could be more help but I've never done the mod.

I just made a small bracket that sits in the front fairing and screwed the ballast to it.

on my 90 FZR 1000 they took the metal flxible wrap shit, like bit metal strips with holes in them for screws that you can wrap around pipes, corners etc

and put them around the balast and screwed them into the lowers near the headlights
