1st I am using the dedicated IP address and this has allowed me free access to the site again.
So thanks Darin for the help with that.
2nd my Engine is now in the hands of DHL. Its on the way to Hong Kong. Then it will literally be smggled across the border to Minland China and then shipped up to me.
I hope it makes it!
I will update my "Project 44" hybrid build thread soon with a lot of pics.... hell I might even use the spell check!

Hopefully the recently laid-off DHL workers here in the states don't get ticked off and destroy it... they all just recently lost their jobs.
I can't wait to see more video of you racing. You're quite the inspiration for FZR fans!

Thanks everyone,
Well I have three seperate smuggling methods I am looking at.
1st is a 2 star Army general who knows a company that helps him ship 'questionable' items every now and then. They plan to include the engine in with a washing machine shipment and see if it goes through unnoticed. Maybe they will put the cad board outer box over my crate or something.
2nd is I have to disassemble and shove in my lugage and my buddies luggage then hand carry through the airport.
Not desireable but doable.
I got a very close customs friend in the airport that will move me through no questions asked like last time when returned from the US with my R-1 front end wheels and 3TJ swnger.
3rd is a guy who makes a living smiggling in motorcycles of questionable origin I just bought a 94 3TJ off him and get it delivered next week. So he already has the ways an means of getting it across.
But I am not too sure which one is cheaper or more reliable.
So I have to wait and see what they quote me.
But for now I am just waiting notice that it arrived (2 more days t wait for that) and then that it cleared Customs in Hong Kong.. Thats questionable as well but should be ok. Maybe just pay some fees or tax.
I figure frm Spders door t my door wil be about 120 USd by the time Iget down. Man oh man this thing better scare teh shit out of me for al teh tme and trouble it has been to get ti finished an ddelivered.
I beterr be needing depends on every turn for that kind of Bull Shit we have put up with.
I can't believe Spyder hung in there through al this. hes a trooper for doing it.
But I think he will never build an engine again after this fiasco. If not APE taking 6 months to do the crank it was UPS sropping the box and parts coming up missing.
Jut a lot of little BS to make the whoel project regretable at times.
Worst part is it was never our fault it was always another party invovled that screwed up. Spyder and myself did our parts.... we know what we are doing. its the proffesionals that let us down every step of the way.
Sorry for teh rant. Jst needed to vent a bit guess.
When this thing arrives in my garage I think I will go find an old friend and roll a fatty!

Either you're in the states right now or you woke up plenty early this morning... ha!
You know as soon as that motor fires, it will all be worth it. There's nothing like hearing your motor firing up after being dismantled...

It's been around that here in Missouri at night. I feel your pain though. I'd be bringing the bike in the basement though. I hate when my fingers don't work!

Well Chinese customs would not let it through that I know of. If it would I would have more into duties than I would the engine cost.
They are real protective about what comes in. Besides the thing would be stripped before i got it anyway ha ha.
This way I went throughHong KLong (An open port) and its been deliverd already to my hong kong frimed.
It should have made it across the border last night Don't ask me how. I am not sure now I just know it was in a container heading for Mainland through... less than legla means.
Once I get confirmaitn its in Mainland I will fast ship it up to Shanghia and have it for the upcoming holiday here so I can work on the bike in my down time.
Will keep you posted

Are you putting the yzf motor in a 400 frame?
or are you putting it in the project you allready have going?
my old teacher used to smoggle Bibles into China before he became a teacher...
