Nice colors

Post by ALMOST »

PKhypes 94 on the photo gallery, Is that a paint job or decals? Have to say that's a great color scheme. It is almost like the 2000's R6 with yellow instead of white. Anyone one the forum every copied the R6 blue and white color scheme?

95,
as you say the colours are not given justice & a full side shot would be better than the front quadrant shot

Looks good and no doubt looks "clean" like the red & white yamaha original.

That is exactly right George! It is beautiful indeed. Great use of the color with the vinyl stickers.

Do you think that PKhypes would change from the blurrycam and snap some new ones. I'm glad someone said something, I thought it was old age creeping in again, "dam eyes"

In 97, they offered a blue and white that looked alot like the YZF600 from the same year (and some of the later R6's), and I happen to be the lucky owner of one. Here's a side shot:

Similar graphics can be had at http://www.tapeworks.com/YAMAHA%20Pages/FZR600.html, and I have the paint code at home somewhere, if anyone wants to paint their bike the "1997 deep purplish-blue metallic".
