Why me? We're in a tough economy and all I can think about is checking the local Craigslist for FZRs. And wouldn't you know it, there's several under $1k and a couple at $500!
I want a dedicated Track Day bike so bad!

Just do it. Let the wife yell at you and give you that "not this shit again" look for a bit and then you'll be fine. Worked for me...

The real issue is money. I have none... at the moment. Buying gifts for everyone else. When you have 4 kids, then this time of year is really not a good time to buy bikes.
BUT - if I can get one for $300 or so... then it might be really worth it.
Here were a couple without photos:

I hear ya. I have a bunch of people to make smile on xmas day too. That 1k doesn't look to bad. The ad doesn't say the year but it's at least a 91EXUP. The first two ads seem a bit shady.

I just closed the deal yesterday on a fantastic find. 94 600 with all sorts of goodies on it and it didnt cost me any cash out of pocket

This time of year is great for finding bikes in Denver. Once the first big snows hit and people realize they cant store them they try to get rid of them. My goal is to pick up at least one more complete running bike before the end of winter for a grand total of 4 FZRs!!!!
I was going to try and pick it up tonight, but the seller had to go out of town earlier than expected, so I wont be able to grab it until monday. It sucks because I am moving my bikes into my friends garage space and were setting up a full on bike shop(with my tools and bikes of course) and was going to work on it all weekend, but I guess this will give me time to get the other two prepped and ready since a lot of the parts(loads of aftermarket goodies) are going to end up on my 2 hybrids
