Homebrew Heated Gear

For those of us that don't live up in the artic regions of the country and could feasibly ride all year. Who has attempted to add heating elements to say a jacket liner?

It's 48° out there now. Sun getting ready to go down and my bike is warming up.

I am sure i will be thinking about this thread in an hour or so.
