my fzr suddenly turn of the engine while cruising

Hi guys,

Just wanted to ask why my fzr 400 suddenly shut down the engine while cruising, this is after i hit the 3/4 gauge of my termo stat. I already check the water pump and it looks ok. please help..i just change oil it twice with 2.20 ltrs. and change the oil filter. spark plugs are new... what should be the problem.

pretty new to fzrs but is it possible you overheated it? maybe a wire got melted and is now shorting out. just trying to help
