It's gotten quiet, what are your winter updates?

So the board has gone more quiet, just curious as to what everyone is planning for winter? As for our friends in the southern hemisphere, has it warmed up enough to dig the bike out and start washing? I don't have much planned for the Buell this winter... there is a rotor and stator upgrade that I have pondered, but I'm also broke. I have also seen an HID upgrade for my low beams that looks pretty cool. Still broke though. I am about to start my last semester of undergrad so maybe that will occupy my time. Anyway just trying to start up a new conversation.

Chris.

Got tired of the growing list off issues and took my 600 off the road, now waiting for the motivation to start taking her apart to put parts for sale on here.

Eventually, the current focus is on a house so any extra is being put away towards a down payment.

Mine is running phukin awesome since a full rebuild was forced on me. cant fault my 1K.
Interestingly enough though after doing a shite load of work on it, gone right through everything, last thing left to do was a dyno run just to check fueling and result was surprising as it is running rich everywhere except idle. (totally stock except race can and FP needle. New mikuni tubes)
So im now running 120/122.5 mains with FP needle circlip at the top groove now. RWHP 131.8 not bad eh
Just a bit of useless information I thought id share. And no one will probably read. A jetting thread/chart would be good boss?
Where is everyone?
I sometimes go on Wildguzzi forum as I have a 85 lemans and if I post a question I have to make sure I don't leave it to long before I go back and look as it gets lost cos theres too many posts! there is at least a page or two of new threads every day. They do talk a load if shite though.
Cheers.

Yeah, I imagine that everyone is busy with the holidays. I check everyday before I go to bed to make sure I welcome the new people. Usually get on here at lunch too. Glad your bike is running smoothly.

My hybrid is in the garage and I might finally get around to putting the tz fairings on it.

Hi from the southern hemisphere, Australia.Yes its summer here and hot but luckily I live near the beach.

I'm currently doing my 89 FZR 600 project. Just this week I stripped the bike apart including removing motor.
Tested my 08 R6 USD forks after getting the fzr stem pressed into R6 trees. Fits well, just waiting on new bearings.
De-anodized a FZR 400 frame and started to polish. Wont finish the frame until I have fitted an R6 swingarm as I will
have to grind and weld.
For now just looking for parts to continue the project, needing R6 swingarm, rims. Parts are just so bloody expensive here
in Australia.

Anyway hope u guys up north don't freeze, time to go have a surf!

Cheers

I didn't even think about everyone in the southern hemisphere. Hope the build goes well.
