Yeah I would love to but I really dont have the extra money right now for everything else involved in putting the bike and myself on the track. Wife in college and 3 kids. All on just my pay check. But definately would LOVE to ride the track.

Its not that hard to get it tagged. Just need it road legal and then inspected. I saw that on craigslist and it is a good deal. Good luck!

Sell your FZR and you'll have plenty of money to take it to the track. You can always make it street legal later. It's a STEAL for that price.

Damn.

We won't hold it against you, see how many of us are becoming Honda converts, or..... at least per-verts.
:grinnod: :no

that's a nice deal for a decent track bike. i personally wouldn't bother with the hassle of getting a title for it, and then converting it to street. that may be more difficult than you think depending on your state. also, those tires are the power race by michelin. they have 2 different types -- one that is made for the street and track, and one for the track. in either case, you'd be better off by getting a typical street tire on it, rather than power races. you have to push them pretty hard to get them to temp so they grip well (as they are designed to). also, the rear tire runs at an absurd low pressure. something low like 24 psi. if you air it up to "normal" pressures for other tires, it will wear horribly and make the bike handle bad. i've seen a person or two have a bad experience with those tires and both times, they had too much pressure in the rear.

good luck with your new toy -- she's a beaut!
