Newbie

Post by greasemeup »

Hi All,

Newbie here, got a 250 3LN1, RZ350R & TDR250 as well as a Honda BROS 650

Putting together a Yamaha "information" spreadsheet, I have some details but don't have all the FZx model specific stuff on suspension so I will post a link to a sheet I collated from various internet sources.

Everyone can edit so please make changes in bold so I can keep an updated master copy.

Should be a good resource when done.

Link fixed!

Suspension measurements, add whatever you like,PUT YOUR MARK UPS IN BOLD so I can reconcile it. If you use CHROME, download extension GOOGLE SHEETS to be able to edit, don't worry about saving, its automatic. http://www.google.com.au/sheets/about/

Hi All,

I have done a fair bit of work to update these sheets, got the some of the RZ models, the TDRs,
got all the FZR-400 model numbers.

Almost all of the information is available in the Manuals on the Specifications Page or the Appendixes,
if anybody has any of them they can post as a picture or email to me I can put the info into the sheets.

The information that isn't in the manuals that I am particularly interested in is

Front Fork Front Fork Front Fork
Tube Size Tube Centers Length

&

Rear Swinger Rear Swinger
Inside Width Length Pivot Center to End

Cheers.

Need centres and fork diameter.

1988 3EN1
1989 3EN2
And the 1989 to 1994

Any help would be appreciated.

I can tell you diameters on some;
Genesis (the correct term for what some call the 1WG...... being as all pre 3tj models are 1WG prefix) 38mm stanchions.
2TK 38mm.
3EN1 38mm
3EN2 41mm

On another topic you enquired about........ FZ400 manuals;
I was unable to help as I have no scanner.
Sent from my keyboard using the English language not some teen text shite from a fooking phone.

Thanks Will,

I will input those tonight.

The manuals get info like rake & trail and if I am lucky, disc and rim sizes.

Do you have any centres, perhaps from your own bike?

I haven't even started to focus on fork lengths yet.

Cheers,

Hi All,

I am looking for fork centres for the 38mm fork versions, 2TK & 3EN1 as above, can anyone run a tape over their bike to help out?

Cheers,
