929 we talking about. took the axle out and there was 0 greese...damn kids.

bearings look great but will not roll when i touch them.....sound like the seized up?

let me know ill order new ones. the rear ones move fine when i touch them, all my other bikes the bearings always move freely when the wheel was off the axle and you touch them.

I would say order some new ones..just for piece of mind. Is there any wear on the axle?

try shooting WD-40 in there. just letting that sit for a few should be enough to let them loosen up. drain them out good and the pack the outta the bearings and try that. you may be able to salvage them yet. B

axle is fine. the front od the bike bad alot of corrions on the bolts so i dont know why they dont move...wd'40'd them last new. off to ebay to find new ones!

make it easy on yourself....

Your local motorcycle store has what you need.

Just take in your old ones and they will match them up.

I think they are like $8-$15 each. So you might end up spending $16 - $30.

That way you are "guaranteed" to get exactly what you want.



Always replace your bearings when feeling even the slightest hesitation on the bearing or light grinding.... it takes only one part of that bearing to fail and your eating concrete.... Just imagine hitting your front brake fully at 70mph.

When the bearings broke up in the rear wheel of my old XTZ750 Super Tenere I sourced some SKF ones of the same dimensions - not only were they cheaper than oE Yam, they were almost certainly better quality too.

Why take the chance to save some money..get some new ones-lots cheaper than a hospital stay.

ALL BALLS are usually pretty cheap and great bearings
