FZR750\1000 mirror upgrade

Post by jum30 »

I just picked up a very tidy '87 FZR750 with a 989cc motor fitted. I like the bike but the mirrors are useless as i cant see anything behind me.

Is there any other better mirrors that will bolt straight on without modifying anything?

Cheers
Jay

some of the folk over at my place have swapped them over left for right. It alters the angle so it clears a bit better. Others have either fitted extension brackets at the mirror bases or mirrors from later/other models such as the square ones from the YZF750
If its not broken it dont need fixing

any of the after market mirrors that are listed on E-bay as the bolts that go through the fairing are in slotted openings and can be adjusted for the spacing on the bike. Mine have LED signal/marker lights on them and were listed to fit 1/2 the sport bikes on the planet. Came out of the box and bolted right on and wiring was as easy as putting bullet connectors on the wires and plugging into the bikes harness.

Thanks for the replies.Ive managed to locate a pair of square Emgo branded ones(prob YZF ones), which have been fitted to a FZR1000 so they should work. Picking them up tomorrow
