Would an airbox from a yzf make it were you dont have to cut up or go to filter pods when doing the yzf tank swap? Has anyone tried it or does anyone have dimensions( carb inlets, clearance)?

I thought I heard someone had tried that. Im sure it could be made to fit. Let us know how it works out. Did you check out heaths site?

Yeah I go to his site almost ever day. I just dont want to cut up the airbox or go to the pods. I'll try it out and see if it works.

If you have one Im sure you can make it fit as far as placing it on there

Funny I was thinking this same thing today. I'd like to know anyone's success/failure as I don't have a YZF airbox to try! (Yet!)

Any success with this or? I've got a set of pods I'd rather sell than try to use and if the yzf airbox fits that's awesome!

I thought someone on the archives tried it but not sure what the outcome was.
