Do they come out of aluminium bit easily? And are they meant too be slightly bent? Its just that ive had a big off, bike rolled a couple of times. Not bad though.(in gravel trap)Looks like one of them could be slightly out of rotation? I see a dowel pin? Holding them in a certain spot? This is why im asking, before i start bashing the end of the cap screw that holds them in there lol Cheers

They're supposed to be straight.

I never looked into removing the bar as mine were in pretty bad shape all round, so I just replaced them with a new set of clip ons.

I already threw my old clip ons away so I can't check for you. I don't recall the bar being removable though and the parts manual also shows it as a single part.

Thats funny......I just checked online and it appears i have 1990 bars. The brake setup is different too. (remote master cylinder and hydraulic line splitter)
Im not surprised, this bike was imported from japan in 1998. Theres a few differences with this bike.
Two peice bars with a cap screw holding together. Parts manual doesnt show the small pin though.
Il just loosen the cap screw and start bashing it eh :whistle

I just went and gave them a wee tap and they came out nicely. The small pin stops them turning sortov. But yea they should be straight. I should be able to straighten them with plenty of heat. Once i get back to work after my broken bones have healed lol
Cheers.
