front forks HELP PLEASE
whats the easiest way 2 keep the bike up while taking forks off? and what sort of tool do i need to change the seals? sorry might be really stupid question but just dont know how i would keep bike up cheers

the wiki knows all. I didn't keep my bike up like it says. I used ratchet straps from the rafters. Or a 2x4 in the bottom triple.

Hi,
That is easy read Y-Geo's web page on just doing that with all his tuition on making your own tools to do the job in a professional manner (mind you I am biased he is my old man loL)

You might want to invest a bit of money on the PD valves as he did, as the ride is probably best value modification for the FZR (from my point of view as his Pillion the bike handling was that much smoother and he had the biggest grin when he rode ours back from doing the work, well since last time.........
Oh a word of warning only buy proper Yamaha seals not cheepos as they do NOT work for long if at all and put the seal wrapper (well greased) over the open tube to stop the SHARP stantion tube from "shaving" the seal (guess who taught me that !)

I tookmy exhaust off, and let the lower part of the frame sit on a crate
..
