power valve? HELP PLEASE FZR400r 3EN2

my fzr has a power valve i believe it is under seat should it have a cable around it? as it stands no cable and its on 1? can anyone help and where can i buy a decent manual book!

Hi,
picture is worth a1K of words . Two strokes have power valves FZR 's do not . are you refering to a gizmo attached to the exhaust pipe that Yamaha call EXUP ?

I looked on ebay it said it was a p valve I also saw another that looked same after I posted and it said it was a servo? Its under r/h fairing beside battery? I'll put pic up tomorrow I just wondered what it was? Cheers

Its probably been unplugged as normally it powers up when u turn on the bike.

plug it all in and see if it turns when u power on.

Its called a "servo motor" :grinnod:

theres no cables there atall where should it attach 2? and also i have a whire under seat thats not attached to anything can i pus pic up and see if you can tell me what it is? cheers
