Guys I have had several emails back and forth With Dave From BAM. he seems like a pretty cool guy.
have a set of these on the way to me no so I will test them out at the track for their wicking capability as well as how well they handle the heat factor in full race leathers.
I think if we want a one piece suit for racing we will need to get a whole lot of our biker friends to show interest and go for the 20% discount offered.
But with that said David seems keen to help out.
would any one be interested in Under wear

he sent me a questionair about the stuff I bought and I sent this back:-
David,
Congrats on a great product, you have heard from Steve (china Racer) & Bernie
just two of whom know about your kit thro me.
The americans would love the product but are reluctant to buy from the UK as
they like to speak to someone "at home".
The following Motorcycle lists know of your product.:-
FZROnline.com (which Steve read )
chassis design list <mc-chassis-design@micapeak.com> Bernie's on that one
<2strokes@dorje.com> 2 stroke riders forum
FiZzeR-Squad@yahoogroups.com FZR racing squad
Motorcycle Roadracing Listserver <race@micapeak.com>
SmokeRiders@yahoogroups.com another 2 stroke vintage racer list
TZHEADS@yahoogroups.com Yamaha TZ riders racers list
2-Strokes@yahoogroups.com
SV-riders club of america (posted to by one of the chassis list readers
If that does not convince you that I think your product is just what is needed
by the biking community I do not know what will
UNQUOTE
the odd thing is that the UK guys have already bought/been in touch but you Americans seem very unconcerned.

Not unconcerned here, just running a balancing act. I DO intend on getting a base layer top and a set of 'leggings' soon.yamaha_george wrote:UNQUOTE

Well I got in my shirt and leggings from Bam yesterday. They are quite soft and comfortable.
I have a race in two weeks and will give a report how they hold out.
Chance of rain or cooler weather so it will be a good test.even if hot I can report on the wicking away of gallons of sweat also.
I got these sent to me form the UK to Shanghai China in less than 10 days. More like 8 days.
I hope these work better than just a mesh poly suit. I will snap a few pics of course.... I am praying for rain I can kick a lot of local ass in the rain, I am so NOT afraid of the rain on race day.... but then I'm stupid like that ha ha

Re: would any one be interested in Under wear
Guys,
well feeling bored & going to chance the comms failing yet again but here goes.
The temperature here in Trinidad has been high 80' low 90's since I arrived and whilst I have not been out too much on my road bike "Blue Streak" I have been around the estate on my dt175 beater bike. For estate rides I wear MX jersys Gloves & Helmet no armour since a the land I am riding is mine & not open to public pedestrian or otherwise (the shotgun sleeve sees to that). I do wear MX pants which in that heat are rather sticky so I have taken to wearing the Bamboo leggings underneath.
Boy what a difference an absolute pleasure no more stickiness or chaffing from the sadle edges when standing on the pegs.
A quick rinse & hang in the sun shine & dry in about 0.5 hours. The MX pants are abit longer but no longer have that musty smell.
Having done this acouple of times I decided that a longish 140 miles round trip to catch up with old friends so I used the Bamboo long sleeve jersey & long pants under my leathers and away I went.
Wonderful best damned ride on the island ever no if buts or maybe's
No sticking leathers no wet leathers take the jacket of at stops no stinky George or the need for an immediate shower.!!!!!!
Thats it lets hope the comms lets this thro.
