Honda VFR ('90-'2003+), Hawk, RC30/45, NSR250 all use the same relative rear wheel offset. i.e. mix and match wheels amongst the various models and so long as the spindle face is unmolested the wheels will remain centered.

90-93 VFR (shock linkage mount is two lobes on bottom of swingarm)(shock end is a 'fork')

Swingarm Pivot Width - 180mm (7.08")
Rear wheel opening - 249mm (9.80")

VFR 800 (1998-2001)
Swingarm Length - 515.5 mm (20.30") *** This measurement is with the rear hub adjusted forward... I'm not positive it's 100% as far forward as it can go, but it's about as close as I felt comfortable moving it.
Swingarm Pivot Width - 165mm (6.495")


Other notes...
The rear axle on the VTR is 20mm dia. the CBR 954 is 25mm dia.
Both the VTR and 954 have 25mm of adjustment from wheel full forward to full back.

hi guys im back sorry havent been on i put a kawasaki front sprocket on as it was stepped this gave the chain alignment

hi guys im back , i put a kawasaki front sprocket as it was stepped this gave me the alignment for the chain,i still have the bike with r1 front end ,r6 tai,r6 tank ,straight bars im struggling to put pictures up i know we like pics help reqired to upload

I did not even know this thread existed; but as it has been resurrected by others and as all previous pics appear to be lost; here are some of a FZR1000 swinger and wheel in a 400 Genesis type frame.
The engine however is NOT 400/600.
I did not fit the swinger; that was done by PO.
I can give details regarding what has to be done in order that the s/a clears the footrest mounts required.
The tyre is 160/17 in order to help retain the sharp handling which it does admirably. A 190 was fitted at time of purchase.

hi there does any body here knows about a way to put a 17 inch wheel into 1987 fzr1000 frame ? (comes originally with 18/160 ) thats without swaping the swingarm!? ... maybe drilling a bigger hall in the frame so the bigger axle would fit ? of corse assuming 170 or 180 would fit in the original swinger with out rubbing ...anybody ?;-)
