Lol, more of an affectionate term than the actual size... but you're right, test riding the CBR felt like it was a much smaller bike. Compared to the FZR, the whole front end felt really open, but then most newer bikes feel that way. I could definitely tell the weight difference right away too.

We'll have to hook up and ride some time, I'll tape a sheet of paper to my bike that says "FZR" and tape over the Honda.

Took some pics of the bike last night. They didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped. If I can avoid getting rained on today I might go and reshoot.

I think he shoud do it. It would be funny to see how many people catch a yamaha sticker on a honda.

There's one more thing that's different... it's not a sticker either.

Funny that you would photoshop a yami sticker on the bike; when I bought it the backoffice guy must have been dragging arse; all of the paperwork said I was buying a Yamaha CBR600RR. I had to initial like 15 places where they crossed out Yamaha and wrote in Honda.

My helmet is a Scorpion EXO-700, matte black.

Power-wise, it's like night and day. The CBR redlines at 15, which is enough to get her moving 70MPH without bothering to shift into 2nd. It pulls harder across the entire engine spectrum and it does it smooth as can be. I only get 41MPG vs. 49 on the my fizz, and it wants Premium so it's more expensive to run, but definitely worth it. EDIT: low-speed cornering seems far superior to the FZR. I never felt quite at ease pulling a tight u-turn on the fizz, but the CBR doesn't going slow at all.

And rage just took the kickstand back out of the pic. I put one in because I didn't want to make anyone jealous. Didn't you guys know that Hondas balance themselves?
