ok so ill be honest here.... im a total noob ...how do you know if your bike is a 1WG or 3HE???? its a 91 600... does that automaticly make it one or the other or is there distinct differences between them???? Noob

Well, according to the internet + Wikipedia, 1WG is an FZR400, 3HE is an FZR600 (in 67kW/91PS spec).
1990 FZR 1000, 1993 engine, terrible state... but improving.

ok well upon further investigation I found it on my block, and o one of the faring's as well... but my thermostat cover has 1wg on it so that's y I asked then I felt kinda special once I found the others

hi,
the block markings say what engine and it is not uncommon to find a 600 engine in a1wg (400) frame as they are far lighter (alloy) frames and the steering geometry is supposed to be that bit sharper.

If a magnet sticks to the frame it is a standard 600 frame, A lot of guys use 400 swingarms on the 600 to alloy wider and smaller (better choice of tyres & rubber compounds) diameter rims.
