Hello everyone...
I just picked up an '89 FZR1000! Bought it on the internet. Will take a month or so to deliver to SW Colorado.
Hopefully, there are some members in the vicinity.
26K miles
Anxious to get it before the riding season is over. First real bike.
Hope to learn a lot about her on this forum.

Thanks everyone.
I've just added 1 picture to my Gallery. Not sure how to post it into this reply directly.
The pic was sent to me from her present owner.
Definitely a clean machine!
The waiting for her is a killer though...

I will probably have to wait about 2 months. I'm sure if I tip the trucking company, say $10 grand, they'd get it here sooner. But that's not an option for me. I still owe the owner a few bucks to mail me all the spare parts he's including with the Yammie, and that will have to wait a week or so also. It's a 2400 mile round trip otherwise. I may need therapy, by the time she arrives!
Any members in SW Colorado?
This will be quite a step up from my 125cc, 2-cycle Yamaha enduro I rode briefly in high school in the late seventies!
Did I mention I was excited!?!

I'm 6'5" and 245. I just hope the old gal can even move with me on top!
Might need a supercharger, nitrous and twin turbos, just to get my right wrist to do anything!
I could be wrong though...
