someone correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the 88 750's the same as the 1000 except the motor? So you could swap in the fzr1000 motor Im guessing. Input anyone?

the 89-95 FZR1000 swingarm can be made to fit with a little work

most of it is ordering new bearings to fit the pivot bolt

teh YZF750 one goes on easy

cheers for all the help guys,
ive found a 1000cc motor, but these motors are popular in australia for sprint cars, so unfortunately its coming at a premium.

Has anyone done a seat and sub frame conversion on these bikes,

Hi Roudy I'm from Australia but the other side from you(Canberra). The fzr750 is probably the least common of the fzrs, the 1000s and 600s are more common but even they aren't in great numbers.
fzr660/400: fzr400 3en1 frame, 3en2 swinger, custom single seat subframe, fzr660 motor conversion, APE adjustable cam gears, full D&D 4-2-1 exhaust, falicon clutch basket, ignitech ignition, R6 front end with tz250 wheel, ohlins shock, storz steering damper, tzr250 rear wheel.

weighs 166kg wet (25kg lighter than my stock fzr600).

Yes pal, you are right! The same happens with the fzr 400 and 600. You can simply put a 600cc engine to a 400 fzr.
THE COST OF YOUR HELMET, IT DEPENTS ON HOW MUCH EXPENSIVE YOU THINK YOUR HEAD IS.
