What's up with sportbike riders?

I saw a good one this morning. Riding a CBR that was too tall for him, had to go tip-toes whenever he stopped. Wearing dress Khakis and some nice looking black dress shoes. Had a helmet and jacket though...

saw a lady on a 636 that was lowered and she would tip toe...it didnt evn look safe. saw a guy on a new cbr600rr pass the car in front of me when he was not supose to....stupid sportbike riders....

I merely put a dime size hole in the knee of the black dress slacks I was wearing in a 40 mph lowside


small scuff on the shoes and it went away with a good buff n polish! :bunny

My girlfriend tippy toed on her '08 ninja 250r before I lowered it. she's 5'2"

I figure it's got to be pretty common (tiptoes), there's a lot of short sport bike rider out there. It just doesn't look safe at all (to me anyways).

definatly not safe.. my gf rode her bike like that for two weeks before we got the lowering kit in the mail and I was scared every minute of it.

Tell me about it. The guy that owned my bike before me was about 5' to 5'1". He almost had to lean to one side or the other just to get a toe down. It was more than a little scary.

the wife is 5 nothing and getting a bike for her back in the 80's was impossible so I yamaha rs125 and cut the frame 2" and lowered the shocks in the triple trees problem solved.
