Arrived safely and have replied with a couple of details that need knowing to proceed.

Quick note when putting the needles back on, the temp gauge needs the power ON to properly align to neutral. (after putting mine back together, I put them on with power off and the Temp gauge flips up well past where is it suppose to be at Cold.

(Just a note to all here who are wanting to get the set.)

just got my own vinyl cutter last week.
I'm gonna play around with getting some fresh clear acrylic, painting it white from behind, and attaching vinyl letters to the top (or cuts on top of white vinyl for the front) and light everything from behind with white LEDs.

Any word from your guy yet?

well Nik told me about your request for news, sorry it has taken this long to say something but as mentioned elsewhere I am "out & about" before surgery.

The guy asked for details of the slots in the dials and I asked for dimensions here on the list but no-one came back to me with info I could add to an engineering drawing/sketch for him so it stalled the project.
Sorry that is the state of play at the moment after my trip & the surgery I should be able to do some chasing up with the Forum membership.

I thought I posted updated photos with dimensions to your email -- I had done everything in AutoCAD. I can resend when you are ready (and I'm at home).
If I get time this weekend, I'll play around a bit with the gauges and see what vinyl print would look like and let you guys know.
