interesting problem with throttle cables

Post by haunter »

got to spend some time the 6 project yesterday

i have a yzf750 front end I got from graphx squid

it has the yzf750 hand controls

the throttle return cable doesnt have the threaded rod on the end so you can secure it place on the carbs.

the new throttle controls are SO MUCH NICER that I would love to make them work instead of go back to old FZR 600 stuff....

do they make threaded rod with a cut out ? and bolts?

Can't you use the FZR style throttle cable? I'm not sure what the difference is in the cable where it connects to the hand lever.
