How long have you had your FZR?

Oh what the heck my wife bought mine 3.5 years ago because i was down in the dumps after the worst holiday I ever had !
This was her at at my Pal who had sent me the pic (he knew I was looking for a mid size bike ie 600 but the Ducati's he had were all too small for the 6'2" of me.)

Slung a leg over her and it was mine


Since then she has had two swing arm swaps (see my website for the full story ) a set of PD Valves (emulators in American speak) fresh springs and tyres. Blue dots & stainless lines a couple of minor detail mods. Slip on silencer that I re-made from a wrecked superbike cast off.

Winter project:-
a new set of fairings (all bought) but two paint jobs required. One for stone stock look and my Blue scheme for a spare set.
Sitting waiting patiently in the wings is a freshly powder coated FZR400 17" rear wheel with polished lips & all the bushes disks etc to fit straight on the bike.

Tho its gona look slightly different when summer comes....( Yea really summer really does exist here in the uk.....No it does honest....someone told me.... )
Tbh i doubt i'll ever sell it .........my 18yr old son wants it nxt

Bought my 94 as you see and it still is back on 97 I think. Been caring for it like a baby since. It has only 12500 miles. Working on it now so I can ride here in the cool season...Phoenix AZ!

bought a mint 97 in 2002 when i was 18, kept it il 2008, bought a 01 929rr i fixed up, sold that 1.5 years later, bought a 96 zx7r biggest fatest heaves pice of shit i ever owned, put it up forsale once i got it home, made $200 off it. bought a rc51 for 2200 that im fixing up.
