Hi,
well I have been out on the bike and it seems my boots need replacing with something more suited to " agressive" riding. I have always ridden with Frank Thomas "Mike the bike boots" but it seems i lean over more on the FZR than I do on my" Blue Streak". There fore I need toe shields that are replaceable and not a zoo of colours my kit is black with reflective piping or black with a blue shoulder shields.
I do not want white or leary Larry coloured boots.

Re: boots what to buy
I see people wearing the new vega sports for track and around the block. Cheap and effective. I bought a pair of their older sport boots a few years ago and they were cheap but functional and comfortable. The new ones are like 100$ and they look so much better. They have a few pairs of low boots also.

Re: boots what to buy
I have two sets actually. I have a set of high end Sidis for racing that are very very comfortable.
I also have some Beriks but they are a bit more bulky. I use them when I race as they seem to offer a bit more hard core protection. I like the feel of the Sidis better but I can sacrafice comfort for protection. The differance is neglagable.
Hope this was some help. If I were on the road I would go with the Sidi's

Re: boots what to buy
Both of my sets of boots are from Alpinestars. They seem to fit my foot the best. There are a lot of differences out there.
I use the Octane shoe for the street (http://www.alpinestars.com/Octane_Shoe/ ... 51407.html)
and the S-MX Plus Racing boot for Track Days (http://www.alpinestars.com/SMX_Plus_Rac ... 20512.html#)
I have them both in Black....
