While rebuilding my bike ( '94 FZR600) I bought some new coated levers. The brake lever is shaped like the clutch lever which is different from the old one I had. Now when I turn to the left the lever bumps into the fairing and causes my front tire to slow down, hence, not safe at all!!! Is that the reason why the old lever was shaped different or did I do something wrong?

Has anyone else dealt with this before? If so, any suggestions?
Thanks all!
