FINALLY got my CLEAR TITLE

Post by reallyniceguy »

YEAHHHHH happy days! lol

Ok I had purchased a 600 fr for 1000 dllrs, 50 k miles.. title was written all over. I couldnt register it..

So I payed the original owner (bike was sold 3 times before it got to me) 100 bux and he went to dmv and for 35 bux he got a new title printed, signed it and handed it over!

Now insurance.. wow the quote I got was cheap.. 120 a YEAR(liability) I dont think this bike is worth enough to insure full coverage.
I fixed the sprocket nut(fell off) did oil change and antifreeze change and will paint it(i know how to paint)

Also I found am 86 fz 750.. for 1200 with only 8000 miles... I think I will get that too..

The bike is parked inside my house lol We have a spare room and thats where I park it... I live in a save neighboorhood and im gated with dogs but you never know.. walmart thieves, or movie theater..

Wheel locks are in order.

Anywho I thought I would share my joy.

Congrats, I bought full coverage, even though I only pail 1600 for my bike, because it was only 178 a year as opposed to 128 for liability. Plus as it turns out that if the bike is in the garage and the house catches fire home owners insurance won't pay for it. So I'll get a new bike if that ever happens. But congrats again, GET OUT AND RIDE... when the snow clears off. Snow in TX?

The FZ is a totally different animal. They're air cooled for starters and don't have parts readily available for them like the FZRs.

Glad to hear the title situation was taken care of.
